What we've created
We use only best-practice safe training techniques. All our trainers are experienced & specialists in health gain, however each trainer has their own additional “special interest groups.”

Our trainers and our staff are more than fitness trainers; they are also listeners, friends and support. They all love what they do and want others to be part of it.
Our team is committed to continuous quality improvement; instructors engage in ongoing weekly training sessions; these help them promote their personal development, and encourage the team to share ideas and learning’s from each other and their client experiences –meaning that the Sculpture Personal Training community is awarded with a better experience.

AMER "AK"

As a previous professional Cricket Player of 10 years in the UK; AK understands the unique pressure on those who rely on sport as a source of income. AK is also aware of the different demands on the body required by different sports, or conditions and how to maximize training to optimise performance.

AK founded Sculpture Personal Training in 2009 to be a holistic service – focusing on mind and body, and it is therefore no surprise, he has a broad skill set in and clientele. AK has success in training families or individuals, focusing on rehabilitation, weight loss or sculpting, he believes in fitness for mental health and has a passion for promoting healthy bodies as a tool for healthy minds and healthy minds for healthy bodies.

Accordingly, AK has experience in wellness coaching and employs this as part of his personal training sessions – assisting with talk therapy and overcoming change. He acts as an Australian Institute of Fitness Mentor as well as a mentor to work experience students to assist in real-world readiness – providing no-cost education, mentoring and support.

AK believes strongly that people have the power to change not only their lives but the lives of those around him. He believes with conviction that you can make your life better, and that fitness and the health that comes with this, is a major contributing factor. AK is a significant facilitator and implementer of many of the community initiatives at Sculpture Personal Training.

Cameron

Cameron – “Cam” is a Sculpture Personal Training full circle story
Cam originally started at Sculpture Personal Training as a client when he was just 12 years old, in primary school, participating in personal and group training both with his family and one-on-one personal training sessions with the trainers.  While he always played sports as a kid, especially cricket and Aussie Rules, it was at the gym where his passion for fitness took off, and he learned holistic training – for sports performance and overall health and strength.

Although studying for a business and law degree, Cam had the desire to make a more immediate positive impact and had witnessed how much Sculpture PT alumni such as Jordan loved their roles as health professionals. He harnessed this observation and his “love of the gym” to also study and become a fully qualified, accredited, registered personal trainer…

And that he did…

After eight years as a Sculpture PT client at 3 locations, Sculpture Personal Training is proud to have Cam engaged as part of the team: a charismatic Sculpture Personal Trainer, fully embodying the organisational ethos of community, engagement, health, safety and fun!

Having had the experience of a child participating in a gym environment and understanding how the body changes throughout childhood to adolescence and adulthood, as well as all of this occurring under the glare and impact of social media, through his lived experience, Cam is uniquely positioned to be a role model, mentor and effective trainer ensuring appropriate methods of participation in a gym, plus physical and mental safety for young people, a way in which other personal trainers cannot.

Currently, Cam regularly leads the group fitness classes: Sparing (Boxing) on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 pm and the 20MC Group Cardio fitness class at 6:30 pm on Monday evenings, along with his personal training one-on-one clients and sessions throughout the week.

His unique experiences of being a client and having grown up in and around the Sculpture Personal Training gym means he understands the importance of building community, making health and fitness accessible and appropriate for all, and adapting and sculpturing exercise training methods the needs of individual clients.  These qualities, together with his cheeky gin, and dead-pan one-liners, all culminating in Cameron, have made him a much sought-after trainer at Sculpture with a unique perspective and exuberance.

Jordan

Jordan is an exercise physiologist and experienced, registered, personal trainer who has been part of the Sculpture Personal Training team since 2011.

Jordan is also a champion mixed martial artist and Jujitsu teacher, as well as being an Occupational Health and Safety Officer. He is a hero and senior trainer when it comes to children, teenagers/young adults and strength training. He also likes to ensure everyone in the Sculpture Personal Training Strength, Shape and Stamina group classes "look alive" - moving, sweating and working to their maximum capacity.

Just like Banana man, Jordan flies around the world with the help of a banana costume - travel being Jordan's other passion outside fitness. Jordan has been all over the planet, and because of this Jordan has an appreciation and patience for various cultures and traditions. His super-human strength however, is powered by lean protein, complex carbohydrates and vegetables; or "chicken rice", not bananas.

He's the trainer who you want to book your young teens in with, as again, like his superhero mentor Banana man, although he takes what he does seriously, he knows how to make exercise efficacious, safe - both physically and mentally, as well as enjoyable so that the kids not really realise that they are exercising! This skill is especially useful in children who need the participation in more intense physical activity, however, are not especially keen on exercising.

As implied by his skill sets; Jordan is in possession of a Working with Children Check & CPR certification.

Athena

Athena has over ten years of working in the health industry – in the areas of cardiac health, sleep medicine and child health. Although not a trainer herself, Athena has a special interest in promoting health in shift workers and at-risk groups.

Through her work in the healthcare sector, the importance of strength anatomy training and social interaction is at the center of Athena’s psyche. From a personal point of view, having struggled with maintaining energy levels, enthusiasm for interaction as well as a stable, healthy weight, while participating in shift work, Athena is now in gratitude to the staff at Sculpture Personal Training for providing the answer. Athena also suffered from back pain and restless legs, which have also resolved since working and training with the Sculpture Personal Training Trainers.
